Sweet Lo’s Ice Cream: The Early Design
Back in 2013, I helped Lauren Wilson of Sweet Lo's Ice Cream to create the brand, packaging, and website for her homemade ice cream. Lauren's had a brand refresh since then, but here's a sneak peak at her first packaging, designed by me :) She's now selling her delicious pints all over Seattle grocers. One thing's for sure– people love her smile, so the portrait I made for her is still an important mark on her labels.
This first brand package was meant to be warm, personable, and something everybody can look forward to. Colorful, textural illustration furthers the notion of pure ingredients and home made goodness. Printed stickers were put on the lids of pre-scooped packages in to-go containers for quick and easy transactions.
