Starbucks Local Collection: Idaho
I had so much fun sketching and getting inky for this tumbler design. Inspired by the natural perfection of the Sawtooth Mountains, I paid homage to this Northwest landscape with a classic linoleum cut. The shiny black ink scene pops against the matte off-white ceramic.
Process
I even found the original linoleum pieces! The Indian Paintbrush wildflowers appear on the back of the tumbler. Sketch, cut, ink, photoshop.
